TimeSvr, Extending help to Startup Entrepreneurs

clip_image002James, after graduating from a renowned University opted to invest his father’s property in starting a new business. James worked day in, day out, all at his own, to achieve successes in little time span. Despite his immense zeal and continuous hard work, James’s efforts seemed to be going nowhere. There were so many things to do with so little resources at hand (James all alone in this case!).

The target audience still required to be identified, the hunt for new customers was long over-due, timelines had not been defined  and meeting this all seemed like a far-off goal. Resultantly, the new business had seen a miscarriage right when it was in its embryonic stage. Failures were not only limited to professional grounds. His girl friend had dumped him after complaining repeatedly about his lack of time and care for her.

Solution:

If you are a startup entrepreneur like James, and wish to establish your name in this big competitive business world, the primary thing to remember is that you are a key player in this self employed world. It is therefore impossible for you to attend to everything by yourself at the same time.

In a new setup, especially when it is your own, you tend to get overwhelmed with work and try to overload yourself with all trivial tasks. Delegation is a valuable investment of our time. This is because delegating someone to perform tasks we usually do will make us free our time to perform higher-payoff activities. And here is where the intelligent decision of making a right choice comes.

Ask help of TimeSvr aide to make things easier for you. Sit down and make a list of your journey goal. Now, focus on tasks that can only be done by you and delegate all filler tasks to TimeSvr aide like, for example, making necessary calls to contacts, designing your daily agenda, reminding you with essential activities of the day and replying to follow-up mails from various parties. Doing so will in-turn make you use your time in a much more balanced and efficient way, creating time for people and activities that are vital to you.

Outsource your life’s tasks to TimeSvr aide and learn to manage your time, thus boosting the productivity of your newly nurturing business. James has learnt this magic tool in-time and opted for TimeSvr aide.

All you need to understand is…..

Time is the scarcest resource; and unless it is managed, nothing else can be managed.

Can TimeSvr make life easy for a Startup Entrepreneur?

A startup entrepreneur is a person who has just initiated up his business with limited resources and is responsible to take it forward (all by himself). He is busy, infact very busy all the time with his mind spinning with all upcoming opportunities, challenges and fears. He has so many mails to attend, meetings, interviews, task distribution and above all a small team to meet the tight deadlines. It is difficult for a startup entrepreneur to manage everything by themselves and most of all they don’t even have enough money (coming in consistently) to hire an expensive resource in order to meet their day-to-day tasks. Entrepreneur is not only required to stay rational all the time but is bound to work and act smartly to survive the highly competitive world.

Peter Drucker, the famous industrial analyst and marketplace guru, has said that none of us come close to using his or her entire potential for getting things done. But we don’t want to accept that evaluation, so we invent new criteria to convince ourselves that we’re accomplishing a lot–certainly meeting our daily and weekly goals–whether we really are or not.

Stephen R. Covey urges us to make a distinction between efficiency and effectiveness. Efficiency is doing things right. Effectiveness is doing the right things. So may be if you organize your life in such a way that other than staying busy all day long, you are working efficiently on things which are required most for your business.

TimeSvr provides an ideal solution for such busy professionals and startup entrepreneurs. They can take help from TimeSvr aides to get their new ideas researched on the go, have their daily reminders and agenda managed, or even get their mails followed up, that too in just $69/month.This way entrepreneurs can give their due attention to the truly important matters essentially required for business growth and leave the rest menial tasks for TimeSvr aides.

Time management strategy with TimeSvr!

It is wisely said that

“We all can do anything and everything, but not at the same time”

So while you have so much to do with so little time in a  given day, think of your priorities not in terms of what you can do, but when you do them.

Time is everything and the sooner we admit and start acting accordingly the better. The most successful guy and an ordinary person have one thing in common, they have equal number of ticks (hours, minutes or seconds) in their whole day, leading to the conclusion that the one who manages time effectively is the one who stands out in the crowd.

R.Covey is a renowned name who has presented various Time Management strategies and techniques. He thinks that the trick to effective time management lies in prioritizing our jobs and dividing our entire life’s activities into four quadrants as shown.clip_image002

Having to divide your life into R. Covey’s suggested quadrants seems like an up-hill task. And while you start off with this challenge to prepare your life’s what you can call  NUNI (Not important…still Urgent or may be Not urgent but Important), the good news is that you can deploy a Timesvr aide to help accomplish your some-important and some-unimportant tasks. The benefit of doing this will enable you to concentrate only on most critical happenings of your life i.e Quadrant I activities. This in-turn will relieve you from so many other stressful yet insignificant tasks that are being performed in parallel by our competent and dedicated Timesvr’s aides.

What TimeSvr can do for you?

Referring to the above R. Covey’s theory, the timesvr aides can take care of your Quadrants II, III and IV activities skillfully (and quite capable of taking charge of the Quadrant I as well if you have decided to outsource your complete life).

Balancing work and kids together..Tough Deal!

By Mary Smith – Customer of TimeSvr

Life has been hectic. My little doll takes 4 meals now and can roll over from the bed if left unattended. My elder son (just 15 months elder) has started putting his hands into switches, eating mud, flipping his slippers in puddle of dirty water and rubs his unwashed hands on to his fathers’ clean starched clothes..in short he is a monster. The entire house is on me, from cooking to attending doorbell. It’s been weeks since I wrote a post on my blog, submit articles to this online forum I work for and make courtesy calls to my colleagues. The boss isn’t happy on my absence from work. The first thought that comes to my mind is, maybe working from home wasn’t a very good idea…

TimeSvr has been helpful in providing me a virtual assistant who manages my calendar and sends me recurring reminders. This way i can attend to my work responsibilities despite my busy mothering routine at home. With the help of TimeSvr, I have been able to list down my tasks at home and from work. The assistant has helped me dedicate hours of my day to each task and has set timeframe for my daily activities. Now i know i can’t spend endless time on finalizing my article. I need to decide when it is good enough and ready to be submitted. Suddenly life is seeming less hectic, better organized and I am not blaming my kids for all my unfinished work projects. This is because at the end of the day, the smile and satisfaction that my kids bring to me is unmatched. Now i curse them less every time i change their diapers! Thanks to TimeSvr

Am happy! :)

It’s not so difficult to avoid procrastination!

You all must have heard this word “procrastination”, where we tend to delay our work to tomorrow, when we can do it today. It’s a habit which is inbuilt in us and until and unless we try hard, we can’t get rid of it. It’s a human psychology to finish things at the last hour. This is the only reason that we lead a disorganized life. Our work gets piled up and when the time comes for submission, we are totally freaked out.

Procrastinators seldom do absolutely nothing; they do marginally useful things, like gardening or sharpening pencils or making a diagram of how they will reorganize their files when they get around to it. Why does the procrastinator do these things? Because they are a way of not doing something more important.

procrastination

How to avoid procrastination?

- Make a checklist of tasks that needs to be done. Once you have it on your paper, you will exactly know what your targets are and what needs to be done. If there is a lot work, prioritize them. Finish the most important ones first and then start with the less priority tasks.

- Start with the work that you hate the most. We usually think that this particular task is very hard and we need to set the right mood for it. For no specific reason, we keep on delaying it. All you need to do is, take it as a challenge and just start working on it.

- Another good idea is to try and finish the smaller tasks first. This way you will get rid of the bigger chunk of your work.

- The best way to avoid procrastination is to keep moving. Don’t stop. Make an activity and keep trying, you will definitely find a way out.

- Learn to keep your focus while working. If you are working online, stop surfing around wasting your time on sites such as orkut, facebook, checking emails, etc. I have seen many people sitting for hours and wasting their time by watching videos or other people’s profile and photos on Facebook. You should stop all distractions coming your way.

- When you are working, try and be productive. There is a huge difference between staying active or being productive. Activity can be sitting on a laptop for hours but not finishing what you want. Productivity is more important and that’s where you achieve your goal.

- Last but not the least, learning to overcome procrastination is important for pursuing a better life. Gather up your motivation and just say that you have to finish this task today, no matter what happens. Once you do that, there is no way that you can’t get what you want.

Cheers:)

YES! you can DO it…..

There are times in your life when you feel that however hard you try, you just can’t manage your tasks. Your boss continuously putting pressure on you, your wife blaming you for all undone tasks, your kids and family all asking for one thing or the another. All these things just don’t seem to end anywhere.

At the end of the day, you realize that there are so many things that you really want to do (for your personal satisfaction) and yet you can’t find time for them.Your pending research on a business you have wanted to start for long, creating your own blog, or may be looking  for your dream laptop. And then if you can’t get what you want, what’s the point of working all day long then.

Even by working nonstop 18 hours a day, at night you feel “NO I JUST CAN’T DO IT”. I just can’t make everyone happy. But deep down there is a voice telling you “Come on you’re not a quitter, you can still do it”.
